About this user

I have been studying butterflies and moths for years and I like getting videos of them and understand the various species that live all around us.

I have spent lots of time on microlepidoptera (tiny moths and butterflies) because not many people have lots of information reguarding them.

My website: www.daveslepidoptera.com was started in June 2007 and is all about the world of moths and butterflies. It is a large project where I want as much information about moths and butterflies as possible to go. Any species photos I take and information on them I get, I put here. Much of my personal experiences and intresting things I find also go here.

I also play whistles and love to make music on computer with them. I have a High D tin whistle and a High C cheiftan whistle at moment. I also play keyboards/piano, but not very well.

I am also intrested in photography and have been for years. I have a Samsung Digimax L85 compact camera I got in 2007 and a Canon 400D with Sigma 105mm Macro lens and canon 18-55mm lens I bought in late 2007. I spend much of my free time taking photos of landscapes, insects, plants and wildlife.
