Hi guys and girls! Welcome to my profile, A bit about me, I started DJ'ing in 1996.& have been in the Dance music scene a bit longer. I have Played numerous clubs around Australia.One of my first & most memorable being only 17 at a club called the globe on a night called 'LARGE' with Darren brias & his other half Megan aka DJ Delicious.
I had my first break into radio whilst slowly but surely becoming a Co-host for a well known FM radio station I used to listen to religiously when I was 13, (BPM on RTR Fm, 92.1) Which is still one of the longest running Dance orientated radio programs in the world, clocking over 20 years with long time original Host, Colin Bridges.
As a producer I started using 'Reason' on a friends laptop (while we were still inspired at afterpartys lol),
Going on to learn a lot training my ears up and getting to know the ins & outs of Logic Pro & how everything 'fused' together.
I have always been interested in sound design, & am finally setting up my career with a few up & coming tracks being released on smaller record labels, Hoping to get better & better until I make it on a bigger label.
I have hundreds of 'unreleased' tracks that i'm sure would be good enough for some labels but I am stuck at a stage where I wont release anything unless I think, yes I would buy it=).
While Ive hung up the headphones for the past few years and being focussed on production, I have not at all cut the cords! I still play the club circuit when available, but am now focussed toward getting my sounds out there and more noticed.
I rarely have time for social networking which is probably a bad thing although lately I find youtube is a great way to meet fellow musicians & am really liking the idea of working with others.
