Dubwiser are a four piece reggae band who have played individually and collectively with many renowned artists (Lee Perry, Madness, The Mad Professor etc) On this album they are joined by artists such as Miss Megumi (Ska Cubano), Dave Cosmics (Zion Train), Fusion (Fusion and Fallacy), Nick Moorbath (Ride) and Scrutineer (Execution Squad), to create a unique and very exciting modern blend of live roots reggae and rap.
The whole album is mixed by Spider Johnson, an award winning producer who recently produced Kila Kela's album 'Elocution' for Sony and recorded and co-wrote the first ever Jungle number one 'Original Nutter' By UK Apache.
Dubwiser are:
Jonas: Vocals, drums and percussion.
Jonas has been described in the Oxford music magazine, Nightshift, as a local Rasta legend.
Spider: Drums, vocals, guitar and production.
Usually plays with mad people like The Mad Professor, Lee Scratch Perry or Madness. He plays with Dubwiser to try and stay sane.
Malcolm Atkins: Keyboards and violin.
AKA The Overlord. If Malcolm cant play it, it aint worth playing!
Tad: Bass.
As well as being the bottom line for Dubwiser, Tad has played numerous bass sessions for Artists such as Madness as well as being an Actor.
