I just love your Turkish Van cat, it looks alike my Turkish Van that i had for a couple of years ago, she passed away by she started to bite us, and we had nothing else to do but to put her to sleep. And im so sorry for Beauty passed away :(

Turkish Vans have a two season coat. It is very long in the winter and as the weather warms up, the coat is shed for a short haired version. The only remaining long hair on the cat would be on the tail. You can read a fantastic article on the breed by going here: www.turkishvancat.org. Just click on the Van cat on the homepage.

Thank you! I have two cat show videos of Beauty being judged by Rob Seliskar also. I enjoy showing and ran three of my cats this past show season. They have all placed Regionally and one of my HHP's placed Internationally.
