Story:
"Truth Serum" touches on the many different war crimes the Japanese Imperial Army commited during the Second World War, yet fail to acknowledge and apologize to its victims to this day. Instead the Japanese government and media continue to deny any claims which are all proven true by historical facts from journalists, historians and researchers around the world. This video hopes to raise awareness to the younger generation of all races of the facts and is not meant to raise hate. This song is strictly one for the 'heads. If you ain't feelin' this then you don't know hip-hop.

What really happened from 1937 to 1945? Who knew man could commit such atrocious war crimes? Back when the Japanese army occupied East Asia, it was called The Rape of Nanjing, and it happened in China. Nah you won't find none of this sh*t written in a textbook, this was worst than the Holocaust, it made damn Hitler shook, our fathers were forced to rape their own daughters, and sons their mothers, babies impaled on bayonets and tossed into boilin' water. Scientific experiments were tested on our forefathers, dissection with no anaesthetic, they didn't even bother. We were lined up, chopped up, and shot for fun; so many were killed and tortured it became a competition. They thought it was fun, to bury us chest high. It's a shame to see the hate and racist remarks that people can make. The general public have obviously not been able to understand or comprehend that this video was made to raise awareness, not hate. Worse yet, many racists use the internet as a mask of concealment to fire their comments of pure nonsense. Note:
As a friendly reminder, this video isn't by any means a universal solve-all guideline to self defense, nor is it a 100% accurate representation of all moves/styles presented. Don't be too hell bent on criticizing the moves so much, 99% of the time when a move is presented "the way it's supposed to be done", the camera cannot catch it. With that in mind, the moves have been modified so that everyone can benefit from what is demonstrated here. This video was made for the general public; we're not masters nor are we claiming that we are.
Project Description:
This video is a martial arts self-defense demonstration that explores the martial artist's mind and the choices he/she has when they are to come across a dangerous scenario. The video is split into the minds of two martial artists whom represent two different size/weight categories; one smaller, one larger. They are thrown into situations that mimic real life danger such as an opponent coming from the front, back, and when you are attacked from a grounded position.
The moves demonstrated in the video are kept as realistic as possible most of the time, other times some flashier moves are thrown in to demonstrate a little bit of variety in the choices that a martial artist has (Judo throws, Taekwondo kicks, Wing Chun punches, etc). The more dangerous a situation becomes (for example, an attack coming from behind instead of an attack coming from the front), the more desperate/damaging the move becomes.
Only the moves that are most effective to a smaller/larger martial artist are demonstrated. The video never encourages a smaller individual to use a move that a larger individual would use, and vice versa. This is because for example, a smaller, faster individual is better at quickly striking an opponent's weak spots, while a larger, stronger individual is better at quickly grappling and locking an opponent into submission. If the situation was reversed, it is obvious to see that a smaller individual would probably have a harder time wrestling a larger opponent, and likewise the larger individual would benefit more if he skipped the striking process and grappled his opponent.
In keeping true to the video's objective, neither Danny (the smaller, faster martial artist) nor Dasol (the larger, stronger martial artist) performed moves that were outside of their size/weight category. Don't be fooled however, this does not mean Danny cannot or is unable to use grappling moves to his advantage or that Dasol cannot or is incapable of using strikes to his advantage; it was simply in the interest (the thesis) of the video that we demonstrate the most effective range of moves that are most suitable to the corresponding type of martial artist.

Japan: arguably the most influential and most popular country in Asia, if not the world. Their technology, culture, and history fascinate and influence both its surrounding neighbours and the western world. Highly regarded as the coolest nation on earth by youth and adults alike; comic books, anime, video games, cars, karate, samurai warriors and the legendary ninja all hail from the Land of the Rising Sun. Everything that we see and hear about Japan, whether it be from books, the internet, or films, generate admiration and awe as they seem to be constantly at the forefront of astonishment and spectacle.
At least for the majority of us, that's what it seems. In reality, there's more to Japan than our narrow, western-romanticized visions may allow us to see. To the uninitiated and naïve, Japan is like a technological paradise, of polite white-gloved service and sycophantic hospitality. To the educated and well-informed however, there lies a darker side to what seems to be and always has been a friendly and peaceful place. This dark side; is Japan's war time past. Their acts of inhumane treatment towards its Asian neighbours particularly China during World War II, has sparked much angst and controversy from the global audience. Pictures speak a thousand words, so we advise you to now take a look at this dark side for yourself.
The relation between China and Japan is one which beholds endless stories of trade, culture and war. Today, Japanese contemporary culture and Japanese customs are influential across the globe, especially within the growing youth of Asia. However, what most beyond the borders of the Far East do not know is the period of hatred, brutality, and war, which ignited two years before the start of the most destructive global war known to man. In 1937, the Japanese people fell victim to the heavy influence of the pro-militaristic foreign forces which dominated the country, but what awaited them across the battlefield of east Asia, was more than an just a chaotic war against western imperialism. It was an imperial crusade fuelled by the false sense of superiority, racism, and genocide. In a campaign that could only be influenced by right-wing fascism, the Japanese Imperial Army committed heinous acts of genocide, mass torturing, murdering, and raping of innocents including women, children and non-combatants during their battles across East Asia, but the most apparent of these events was the incident known as The Rape of Nanking. The Rape of Nanking, simply put, was the East Asian version of the European Holocaust, except with one distinction; the Holocaust was well documented, well taught, and well known, while The Rape of Nanking was not. The Japanese Imperial Army didn't stop there. An intricately designed system of sexual slavery was put in place wherever the Japanese Empire roamed and fought. Women and girls of all ages across Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, and China were kidnapped, tricked, and taken prisoner to military brothels where they would be forced to serve as sex slaves for the gratification of Japanese soldiers, or be killed. And yet still, the list of atrocities committed did not stop. To add insult to injury, an infamous team of Japanese scientists known as "Unit 731" were assembled by the Japanese government to systematically torture, dissect, and use helpless Chinese men, women, and children as guinea pigs for their scientific experiments.
