Good grief!!! Could this scene BE any more cheesier? I haven't seen such ham and cheese in a television scene in years. Mary and Matthew have gone from an interesting and witty romance, to an over-the-top love story, straight from a Barbara Cartland novel.

The man's death wasn't merely an accident. It was manslaughter. And Poirot allowed the guy to get away with it. This is the first time this has happened. The second time it happened was in "TAKEN BY THE FLOOD". Apparently the writers of "POIROT" does not view manslaughter as a crime.

Miscenegation has been going on for centuries, despite any laws against it. There were many people of mixed races back then and now. Someone like Chang was nothing new. Not even in 1932.
And why did he assault Hui Fei and not Lily, when he really wanted the latter? That made no sense to me.
