Good grief!!! Could this scene BE any more cheesier? I haven't seen such ham and cheese in a television scene in years. Mary and Matthew have gone from an interesting and witty romance, to an over-the-top love story, straight from a Barbara Cartland novel.

Sedeyus is right. Matthew Fox and Yunjin Kim always did have good screen chemistry, together.

The man's death wasn't merely an accident. It was manslaughter. And Poirot allowed the guy to get away with it. This is the first time this has happened. The second time it happened was in "TAKEN BY THE FLOOD". Apparently the writers of "POIROT" does not view manslaughter as a crime.

I love this movie, but Julian Fellowes' handling of the Henry Denton character is so ham-fisted.

You need to update this video to include the 2009 version of "EMMA". Also, the name of the actor who played William Elliot in the 1995 version is SAMUEL WEST, not Simon West. And why not include the actors from the Austen productions of the 1970s and 80s?

I first saw this miniseries when it re-aired on CINEMAX, some twenty years ago. Yet, this posting featured scenes I have never seen before. Now if only someone would transfer the thing on DVD, I would buy it in an instant.

I liked this movie better than the 1st one. Stronger writing and the chemistry between Walker and Gibson is first rate.

I've been reading some of the commentary on the supporting characters and have come to the conclusion that humans have a penchant, or perhaps tendency, for one-dimensional judging. I get the feeling that hardly anyone is capable of viewing these characters from a complex or ambiguous point of view.

I recognized Elliot Cowan from "Taken at the Flood". He was the best thing in that movie. However, I find his American accent in this movie to be rather questionable. I also recognized Nigel Terry as Christian Gulbrandsen. He played King Arthur in 1981's "Excalibur".

It's interesting that the two spiritualists keep referring to Bella's Greek husband as that "dreadful" man. Yet, the companion of the murdered woman had insisted that she genuinely liked him.
