Physician discusses various topics in health care, focusing on natural treatments, encouraging and enabling people to take control of their own health.
I have never had a patient tell me "Thanks Doc, now that you've got me on all those medications for my blood pressure and cholesterol I feel GREAT!" On the other hand if I can get a patient to eat better, exercise and take the right supplements they improve their blood pressure and cholesterol without medications and you know what? They feel GREAT! Although medications are sometimes required, our goal is to get patients to lose weight and maintain an active exercise program. If successful we are often able to get them off their medication. We spend our time and energies on treating healthy people. Through education and support on the value of a healthy lifestyle, positive thinking, exercise, healthy eating and natural compounds we can effectively treat conditions like high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes before they become problematic.
