DOROT's mission is to enhance the lives of Jewish and other elderly in the greater New York metropolitan area through a dynamic partnership of volunteers, professionals, and elders; to foster mutually beneficial interaction between the generations; and to provide education, guidance, and leadership in developing volunteer-based programs for the elderly, nationally and internationally.

Winning films will be featured on DOROT's website - visited by thousands each month
Contest Rules:
1.Contestants must be between the ages of 13-19.
2. Videos must be between 1 to 3 minutes in length.
3. Videos address at least one of the following themes:
· Volunteering for the elderly
· Intergenerational relationships
· Respect for the elderly
· Youth as agents of social change
· What is DOROT?
4. Filmmakers must sign a video release form, allowing DOROT to modify film, if necessary, before being posted to the agency website.
5. Films must be submitted via http://www.youtube.com/DOROTvo lunteers

On-line voting: May 5 -- May 17, 2008
