Few of the things I do today were learned in school, despite being a post-grad, except for one thing: writing. My 8th-grade teacher, Miss Bieber, made me write for 15 minutes each morning on any topic I wished, just to get me in the habit. My first song lyrics were written during one of those 15-minute periods!
