I'm not clueless, i am very familiar with triggers. Triggers do not even affect how fast you play at all! And of course he is using a double kick pedal the double strokes at :57 are a perfect example.

My name is Daniel Jerrehian, and I like to play the drums and jam to music. I play a Ludwig Accent Custom Elite 4 piece kit with a Tama Artwood custom snare drum.
The sizes are listed below.
Bass Drum: 22x18
Rack Tom: 12x9
Floor Tom: 16x16
Snare Drum: 14x6.5
Cymbals
Hi-Hats: Paiste 101, 14 inch
Left Crash: Sabian SR2 Heavy, 16 inch
Splash: Sabian SR2 Thin, 12 inch
Right Crash: Zildjian A Rock Crash, 18 inch
China: Zildjian A China High, 18 inch
Hardware: A mix of Ludwig and Gibraltar
Pedals: Tama Iron Cobra Jr.
Recording: I use a Behringer mixer, and a variety of mics, they get the job done.
In some of my covers, you may not see mics or the recording equipment because I generally don't record the audio and video at the same time.
Program: Audacity (For now)
