@1023Seph Well, I have yet to finish it (I'm on epi 7 (I think . . . .)) but I have yet to cry (I know I'm really not far in so yeah :P)

But to be honest, I never cried at Angel Beats (but I was touched by a lot of it . . . but no tears of manliness)

I could see my marching band having the Synth and the Guitarist replace the two soloists in Part 2 and have kinda like a duel between the Synth+High Voices and the Guitar+Low Voices

@TheMranimexxx Yeah, they are a band that is inside of the anime (Just like how Kanon is an idol in the anime "The World God Only Knows" and Rise is another in "Persona 4 : The Animation". They all have their songs being played in the background quite often
