Keenan Steele or better known, Dj Knock Out was born Jan. 19 in Lexington, Ky. He is the youngest in his family he has two older brothers. Music has been a part of his life since birth with a father that played drums, a mother that played violin, and a older brother that has been djing since the mid 90's. At the age of 8 Knock Out begun taking piano lessons from a local church pianoist. When he was 12 he had stopped taking his piano lessons so he could continue playing football. He also has a very strong love for sports at the age of 5 he began playing football in lexinton's parks and recreation sports program. At the age of 13 Knock Out had started mixing and blending music when his older brother gave him his old turntables, a pair of Technics 1200s and a Stanton SMX.201 mixer. Then At Age 14 Knock Out had came across some recording equipment and a old computer and started hosting mixtapes and selling them on the streets and around school he also started producing beats and selling them to local artists. At about age 15 Knock Out had started a local buzz and had built a nice little internet buzz as well. word was getting around that he was the youngest teen dj in ky and from there things really started taking off. Now at age 16 Dj Knock Out has gotten to meet and work with many famous faces and not so famous artists. He has now started his own independent label, Fast Lyfe Records and is also currently with Coast 2 Coast Mixtape Djs and he is also affiliated with M.G.I. Knock Out now has 2 studios a long list of mixtapes, events and songs he has hosted, mixed, djed and produced he is now entering his Jr. year at Bryan Station High School in Lexington, Ky. He is a student athlete, musician. When asked where would Dj Knock Out see himself within the next five years he replied "Hopefully somewhere making money doing what I love and achieving many awards."
