"Tampa's Most Connected DJ," DJ Ekin, is one of the hottest DJ's on the turntables today! His brand of spinning, knowledge of what's hot on the street, and, not to mention, his charismatic personality, makes him explosive to behold. He has rocked everything from BET's "Rap City" to Disney's "New Year's" & "Grad Nite Celebrations" to the "Jay-Z & Friends Tour". In this industry, there are not many DJ's who can make this transition from a hot hip-hop set to today's Top 40, yet DJ Ekin does it with ease. DJ Ekin has made a name for himself in the industry as one of the most diverse, hardworking, reliable, and energetic DJ's around. That's why it's no surprise to see names such as, P. Diddy, Cameo, Mary J. Blige, Britney Spears, Jay-Z, Nelly, Destiny's Child, and Ludacris, on the extensive list of celebrities who he has had the opportunity to work with in his career. He is also no stranger to travel. He has hit stages throughout the East Coast, as well as, overseas. His first booking as a professional DJ was in London, England.

DJ Ekin was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. His dad can be given credit for discovering this hot DJ. He gave Ekin his first set of 12's when he was only 12 years old. DJ Ekin has resided and worked in many of the nation's hot spots; including, Virginia, Atlanta, New York, Orlando, and now, Tampa. Major corporations have begun to take notice of his value at reaching their targets markets as well. Bud Light is now on board as a proud sponsor of "Tampa's Most Connected DJ" & he was recently selected to be a part of Finish Line's "DJ Saturdays" campaign where a live DJ took control of the sounds in various high traffic Finish Line locations around the country. What makes DJ Ekin unique is he not only gets in the booth and spins, but also entertains and interacts with his crowd. By the end of the night, you know you have been at a party rocked by E - K - I - N!

DJ Ekin's talents extend far beyond the turntables. As President of "4Play Entertainment, LLC" he oversees the development of such projects as "How We Get Down", (howwegetdown.com) where he serves as Creator & Host. He can also be heard puttin' it down across the airwaves of Clear Channel Radio's, WBTP 95.7 the BEAT in Tampa, FL, (www.957theBEAT.com) where he juggles the duties of being both an On-Air Jock & Mixshow Coordinator. As Ekin states, "I look at every opportunity as a chance to solidify my position in the game." Most recently he has taken on the challenge of columnist with his monthly contribution to Fade Magazine; "How We Get Down: Intdustry Rules."
