SNOWMAN:
D.I.P. (Devil In Paradise) is the next big thing in Albanian hip-hop music. Hes the pimp behind the wheels and the drama setter on the mic. We introduce you the young talent.
SNOWMAN:
You make both hip-hop and reggaeton. How do you feel about reggaeton? And what is the current status of this style in Albania?
D.I.P.:
Reggaeton is great in clubs and pubs. It's an energetic music for dancing, especially for girls haha. In Albania, reggaeton is prefered by groups of all ages.
SNOWMAN:
Besides your rap career you are working as a DJ in Pub Arbi, in Pogradec. When did you start?
D.I.P.:
As a DJ I stated earlier. I have started five years ago in my city. Albania has a lot of very good pubs and clubs.
SNOWMAN:
There are alotta talented Albanian rappers in the immigration, like Unikkatil and The Bloody Alboz, just to mention the greatest ones. How do you feel about them?
D.I.P.:
In Albania, there are really a lot of talented rappers. Moreover there are even more talented rappers that have migrated to different countries, such as The Bloody Alboz, and Unikkatil, the leader of their family. My thoughts around T.B.A. are that they are truly the best rappers and they are very talented, and some of them are my friends. Such as D.M.K., who is the number one in Albanian rap.
SNOWMAN:
You had a beef with an other Albo rapper named Cool T. Can you tell me about this situation?
D.I.P.:
Cool T is simply an mc who misses a lot of elements to be called a real rapper. Where the most important is that he doesn't have flow and hes simply an amateur, nothing more. With the diss that I did against him he understood that he can't mess with me, because he is much below my level.
SNOWMAN:
What can we expect from you in the future?
D.I.P.:
I am currently working on my first album which will have many feats with rappers such as D.M.K., Double M, Geni N.J. and Elvi G who is my younger brother, and many other rappers.
SNOWMAN:
Any shootout?
D.I.P.:
I thank all my fans who have helped me to be who and where I am today; and tomorrow maybe I could be much better with their help. I respect them because they are truly fantastic, both the guys and the girls. I promise that I will work and try my best to achieve more.
