I also second this. Especially the EDM that people are producing of late, has a serious lack of melody and harmony. All the harmonics are in layered synth patches, that eat up the entire sound spectrum. I think it's about time people got back to writing music in a more classical sense.

Amazing routine. The fact that he ever had time to stop and drink is in itself a miracle.

YouTube recommended this video, probably because I watch a lot of finger drumming and Maschine tutorials. I totally get your frustration, it sucks that they would sell an unfinished product, most likely because their hardware sales were plummeting due to the success of USB midi, and Native Instruments flagship controller. Akai has always had a handle on the market, and I'm sure they were struggling to catch up. I'm sure they will work out the bugs, there's a million PCs that are all different.

I agree with the top post. Stop hating! (Unless it's trap, then hate away)

Do you use anything to lubricate them?

I needed this today. I have become increasingly jaded, due to the rise of terrible pop music.

Awesome break down of his set up. I am currently working with Traktor S4, F1 and Maschine and this gave me lots of good ideas on how to not overload myself with the possibilities. Thanks for the video!

Youve got skills, next time record the output and sync it up with your video in imovie or something so it sounds better.

Wow! Thank you this is awesome! I have a lot of music to go through. One question: How is it that you are able to set your first cue point to the load marker and not have it reset the beat grid to the auto detect position? Every time I drop a beat marker it sets it as a "grid" cue and I have to use a separate cue as a load marker so i don't lose the grid position.

@Aurastormx tell that to the people at beatport. Every time i look at the breaks chart there are tons of tracks that are four on the floor, with snares on 2 + 4. Which apparently categorizes them as Breaks.
