About this user

DJ Karrmyce's interest in music started at at an early age of 8. My parents had an extensive music collection where music was always a entertaining atmosphere for the family. My dad would take me to the local record store where we would collect such interests as Marvin Gaye, George Clinton and The Eagles. While growing up I would practice on my keyboard and turntables. I started writing music in Memphis, TN in 1995 when I was 18. While enlisted in the US Navy I took an interest in the DJ industry. In 1999 I started spinning at a club on base in Italy. My music style wasn't limited since I like all genres of music. Upon returning to the states in 2000 I started to DJ in Florida doing private parties. In 2001 I continued to practice my skills in Puerto Rico by hosting a command party for military personnel. While in Puerto Rico I also produced and mixed music. Once again returning to the states in 2003 to Memphis, TN I started DJ Karrmyce Local DJ Service. I provided entertainment at local clubs, weddings and private parties. In 2009, I made the move to Atlanta, GA to network and move my business to a new area. During this period I have collaborated with up and coming artists to create new music.
