Kay One ist mit Sicherheit ein Phänomen: gesegnet mit überdurchschnittlichen Rapskills, hat der Ersguterjunge Künstler schon in früheren Tagen mit seinen Freestyle Fähigkeiten sowie seinen Doubletime Passagen auf sich aufmerksam machen können. Jedoch scheint sich der als Kenneth Glöckler geborene Rapper nicht auf den Rap Mikrokosmos reduzieren zu wollen und hat den Deutschrapzirkus vor einiger Zeit in Richtung St. Tropez und Aftershow Partys verlassen. Durch seine Erfahrungen im Jet Set Leben hat der Ersguterjunge Rapper mittlerweile eine ganz eigene Sparte geschaffen und rappt auf authentische und unterhaltsame Art und Weise über die Vorzüge von Models, Partys und den schönen Dingen im Leben Somit hat Kay One allen Unkenrufen zum Trotz einen durchaus innovativen und individuellen Rapstil kreiert. Sein enormer Stellenwert wurde auch im Zuge der Umstruktierung des Ersguterjunge Labels deutlich, denn trotz der zahlreichen Trennungen durfte er auf dem Bushido Label verbleiben.
Am 2.3.2012 erscheint das neue Kay One Album "Prince Of Belvedair" über Ersguterjunge. Visa Vie traf sich mit dem selbsternannten besten Rapper um über sein neues Solowerk zu sprechen. Dabei redet Kay One u.a. über die 'I Need A Girl' Trilogie, die Zusammenarbeit mit Mario Winans sowie den Erfolg der Single in den USA.
