About I Miss The Good Ol Days . . .
Arroyo said, according to USA Today. "People don't own teams to lose money. If you ask any owner whether they would rather make $20 million and come in last place or lose $20 million and win a World Series, there's only one guy who honestly would take that championship: George Steinbrenner. Nobody else." So, where to start. Well, for one thing I love video games, and im proud to admit that. I love rap music, and would love to be able to rap, don't worry, im not white trash either. I am a terrible cook and burn everything i try to cook. I love pizza and pasta though. I love dogs a lot more than cats, but kittens are nice. The New York Yankees are my favorite baseball team, and I really like A-rod, Jeter, Mo, Joba, and Tex. I like to play Streetball and Baseball whenever I can. I like to Four-Wheel in the Spring, and work out. I hate liars, but i really hate whores, they do nothing but annoy me.
I don't do sub for subs, I don't like to fill up my subscription box.

~~~~~~~~~~Yankees and Money~~~~~~~~~~
Ok, I am getting sick of everyone with a slight interest in baseball yell at the Yankees for their spending. I understand that we spent more this offseason than the other 29 teams combined. What's the big deal? We got rid of about 88 million dollars in contracts after the 2008 season, so we had the money kicking around, so we spent some of it. Even with signing AJ, CC, and Tex and resigning Marte, our 2009 payroll is going to be lower than it was in 2008. But, now that great players are involved everyone is screaming foul and calling for a salary cap. Yet, last year when out payroll was even higher, with Pavano and Wang on the DL and players underpreforming, no one cared. Whats the big deal now? We have the money, why not spend it, would you rather have the owners be greedy and pocket the money? Look, we pay our players, we pay the coaches, and we pay our taxes for spending the big bucks, so whats the issue.
I will never forget the 2009 Yankees. They were one of the best teams in recent history. They had it all: pitching, hitting, and the thing that matters most, Club Chemistry. Now I don't agree with all the moves we've made this offseason, but i just hope Cash knows what he's doing. I still think we need another good starter and a vetern dude in the bullpen, besides Mo.
Thanks for the memories Matsui and Damon
Welcome to the team Granderson!
Bye-bye Coke, Jackson, Kennedy, and Bruney.
~~~~~~~~~~~Cell Phones~~~~~~~~~~~
Everywhere I look now in days, i see people using their cell phones. Whether their using them to talk to people, text with people, or to take pictures of people, there constantly being used. And I personally hate it. About twenty percect of arguments start over a cell phone call or a text. Why would you use something that only leads to arguments? Also, a good ten percent of brake-ups happend over the phone or text message, meaning cell phones bring sadness too. Cell Phone usage is responsible for a high percentage of car accidents and help to trigger road rage in people that get stuck driving behind some idiot on his cell phone. I, for one, think that every cell phone on this planet should be smashed! Do people really need to talk to other people every waking minute of their life? Is it imperitive that you have to walk though public staring at a cell phone, not looking where your going, because you can't stop talking on the cell phone. People would be better off without Cell Phones. People would be happier, be more free, and have more time in their life to hang out with their friends in person. The car accident rate would also be decreased ten-fold and the amount of waves traveling though the sky would be significantly decreased, which probably would lead to healthier, maybe even smarter, people.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Politics~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bush and his loyal backers see his record this way: He kept the country safe from attack after terrorism redefined his presidency, cut taxes, freed the people of Afghanistan and Iraq, reformed education, oversaw 52 straight months of job growth, acted decisively when the economy tanked, stuck to principle no matter what his poll numbers, retooled the military and improved federal crisis management after the worst U.S. natural disaster happened on his watch.
To his critics, Bush wasted the world's good will after the Sept. 11 attacks, got the nation into a catastrophic and avoidable Iraq war, presided over a staggering 2.6 million jobs lost in 2008, ran up debt, reacted slowly to Hurricane Katrina, did more dividing than uniting and refused to listen to the will of the people.
Historians say the fairest assessment will come over time. Bush says accurate short-term history does not even exist.
