About Me:
Welcome to my little youtube channel. As you've probably gathered, it is full of videos of me singing mostly jazz and bits of other things. Im an unprofessional singer thats never had any vocal teaching before. Im all self taught and am as a result, rather raw. However somthing I think that can't be teached is heart and pure passion which I feel soo strongly inside of me. Ive suffered from social anxiety all my life and this has thus far held me back. It's probably the most insane goal for someone such as myself but I really wish one day that im able to overcome my fears and anxiety's and do this thing for real. A little obscure smokey jazz bar in the middle of nowhere will do me just fine. So long as im allowed to lay atop the piano looking all mysterious whilst I sing... why not!? haha
Im a very eccentric person with a love of all things bizarre and magnificent. My biggest influence would be Billie Holiday. The Great Lady Day has taught me soo much about singing. Other strong ones would be Rufus Wainwright, Amanda Lear, Chet Baker, Dalida.
My channel has a large amount of covers as well as my original songs which are now starting to grow quite quickly. Although my originals and very much different to the jazz I usually sing. They are more simple, quite ambient and experimental.
Ive got to say a big thank you to those who have left me encouraging comments throughout all these years. It is thanks to you that I have grown stronger. I started here with no self belief what so ever. Now however im really starting to believe in myself and it's the greatest feeling and it's something ive never felt before. Thank you :~)

Can you send me the backing track for ______?
I get asked this alot and whilst im happy enough to point you in the direction of where I bought the instrumental im using from, im afraid I don't give them out. I already feel guilty enough using some of these beautiful instrumentals (especially ones played by jazz trios) without permission although it is all for fun and practice.

Really unusual.. A strange mixture of Jazz with sorta cabaret elements in there as well. Ive got a naturally really deep singing voice which ill often experiment with.

Movies:
James Bond!!!!!!!!! And I like abit of mystery horror such as The Orphanage and Silent Hill..Love watching antique shows and also property programmes, I can dream of living in the country side in a beautiful period cottage :(Oh I love the show Eggheads, Daphne is the best hehe! Such a lovely clever lady. Oh and gotta have me abit of Corrie and Eastenders!!
Music:
Well the music most dear to my heart is sorta melancholic jazz style songs and old chansons. I don't know, I just get something from listening to that kind of music. It helps me. If I buy a new album, it's always the songs with a melancholic vibe I find myself playing again and again. They also happen to be the type of songs I love to sing the most.
Books:
ummmmmmmmm.... Well I worship Barbara Cartland. I must admit ive never been much of a reader though.
