Thank you for your encouragement. As I get more comfortable, I may look into electrifying my mandolin. You are right when you said you could barely hear me, as a matter of fact I could barely hear the two lead singers. I too was right in front of the speakers, but I wonder if we should either not use the amplification or if we should all be amplified, singers and all. It is just a thought; I supposed we will not know either way, unless we get some feedback from the audience. (Look at me running my pie hole, like my opinion matters.) Anyway, I sure am grateful that you all welcomed me to continue to play with you as often as I can. I asked Dave, considering I was right behind him, if I complemented or distracted the band? I got a good review, at least I thought it was a good review, because he said he wouldn't hesitate to turn around and give me the stink eye. I didn't get the stink eye, so I should be good to go. :)
