Interesting - agreed on the whole though Elton and Kate Bush should have got a look in. Noticed that most of these bands are either British or American. What about ABBA, some of the Aussie bands - INXS and other non-Brit/American bands?

I spent the summer of '78 in The States and they were talking about a British invasion then! I seem to remember much of the top 20 being British artists The Police, Dire Straits, Gerry Rafferty, Queen, Clapton, Genesis, Kate Bush, 10cc, ELO, The Jam, Chris Rea, Robert Palmer, The Clash, Rod Stewa...

What a waste of time. If I wanted to hear a rant I would have turned the sound on.

The Poles were caught right in the middle of the conflict. They suffered greatly, and still faught bravely. Their free forces were fearless fighters and won many battles. They have not, and will not be forgotten
