Great if you'd just get rid of that tinkling celeste or whatever it is. Very distracting and I've never heard any noise like that in any performance of The Middy before. Otherwise, it's a wonderful performance

Perhaps Healesville Sanctuary, outside Melbourne [search on google] has the best options. I used to go there a lot as a kid because it wasn't all that far from where I grew up, but I know it's changed a lot in the past few years. It's become a lot more educational in its outlook.

Always enjoyed Dion's voice, but the original by The Elegants appeals just that little bit more to me.

I think I like this version and the original by Big Joe Turner equally well. This is sung with great sensitivity by Ray Peterson. He had a range of many octaves.
