Darrick Rizzo aka D' Em Up is a graduate from Williamsport High School in Pennsylvania. Darrick led his high school basketball team to the State Final game in 1995 with his solid defense. After high school, Rizzo attended Lycoming College, where he broke many track and field records.

During this time Rizzo was also a member of the National Rank basketball program, was the single season record for most wins in school history. After college Darrick became the assistant track and field coach for Williamsport High School and assistant varsity basketball coach for South Williamsport High School.

Darrick was known as a Defensive Specialist. He has shut down a lot of Division 1 players and held one of the N.B.A's greatest players, Kobe Bryant, to only 8 points in high school.

Acclaimed defensive coaching specialist, Darrick Rizzo, aka "Coach D-unit" has been training hundreds of athletes, coaches and teams to become better defenders. Darrick Rizzo is proud to be one of Coach Pete White's proteges! Coach White may be best described as one of the most knowledgeable and highly respected coaches in all of Pennsylvania. Pete White has won 17 District Championships in a row; a Pennsylvania record! He also holds the record of winning 12 consecutive PIAA AAAA First Round Playoff Games. His 1984 undefeated, 30-0 State Champions may be the best high school team in PA's history. In 1995, he was named PA Big School Coach of the Year and led Darrick Rizzo's team to a state runner-up title.

Darrick Rizzo will teach you the unique and exclusive Pete White "SYSTEM", which could help you win a State Championship.

This "SYSTEM" will be implemented into your elementary school's basketball program and you as coaches will learn how to program your athletes to play the "System".

Rizzo's flagship company, Rizzo Productions, produces highlight DVDs for aspiring young athletes to help with college scouting. His other company, D' Em Up, is a video training tool with available apparel and a basketball soundtrack used by thousands. Currently, D' EM UP is a special guest at Kutztown University's summer basketball camp, training over 100 players from France.

Rizzo has also been coaching defense at the top ranked NCAA certified basketball camp "Keystone State Camps", for more than a decade. Darrick has also demonstrated his teaching techniques at other various basketball camps, tournaments, and other events nationally.
