From hardcore landmarks like South Park Mexican's indelible "Hustle Town" album with cuts like "Streets On Beats" and "Marry Go Round," to the infectious "3rd Wish" album his resume more than speaks for itself. Bert Trevino was born on Febuary, 1972, in Houston Tx to Baldemar and Linda Trevino. By luck his life took a dramatic turn when he was interduced to Rap-A-Lot Records, where he met the man who would become his mentor, industry leader J. Prince. Shuttling back and forth from group to group, Berts energy and commitment loyalty earned him the leap from gopher at Rap-A-Lot to Director of A&R at DopeHouse Records for his old friend Carlos Coy AKA South Park Mexican.
Shortly there after He engineered the careers of DopeHouse artists Baby Bash, Grimm, Low-G, Rasheed, Pimpstress and The Lone Star Ridaz, Bert was Quoted in saying in The Houston Post "We are producing music and influencing the image by tapping into the style and flare of the young Latin urban youth" This combination ushered in the new musical genre of Latin hip-hop. In 2001, Bert left DopeHouseRecords, but he reemerged later the same year with A.B. Quintanilla III and his company, King Of Bling Entertainment. The company's monster group Kumbia King's with there multi-platinum status King Of Bling quickly took off, developing and producing recording and creating the new style of Kumbia with a K
