The point here is not only that my reactions would lend credence to the formula but that most listeners would have mixed feelings about my statement. People like to see science march on, but they tend to resent its intrusion into an "ART" like the communication of feelings, just as they find analytical and quantitative approaches to the study of personality cold, mechanistic and unacceptable.

The interesting thing for me was to step outside my normal style and get a little more cartoony than I usually do. So, naturally, I picked the WEIRDEST looking characters in the book!
I wanted a pastoral setting - a mammoth characters showing their reflective moods.
