IM a small engine expert... when u drain the oil from the dipstick filler tube you dont remove sludge from the oil sump and on this type and almose any vertical B&S engine its a 3/8 in internal square drive and also run the mower for about a minute so the oil is warm and thinner

son i miss how it was then the value priced mowers were tanks against these disposiable POS things sold at the cheepodepot now. Love em' IH NEVER FORGOTON
