Have you ever noticed how most religions are just an excuse to be incredibly crappy to one another? More atrocities happen in the name of deities than for any other reason. Why? Because people are sheep. Just because someone once told you that that spilling your seed (or rubbing your rubbery bits) is wrong, doesn't make it so.
Just because the guy over the fence lives his life according to a different book does not make him the enemy.
All religious texts are the same. Just a set of stories with morals, that attempt to get across some basic concepts; such as dont steal, kill etc. Trying to take literal interpretations from stories written thousands of years ago is just plain stupid.
When you couple that with the blind trust that most place in their holy men or women, and their attempts to apply these theoretical cases to todays world, it is not surprising that they have most of us at each others throats.
Question everything people! And if i said it that applies twice over.
Oh yeah... and if you are a uni graduate. Please don't assume that you are any smarter than most. I serve you people alcohol, and I can assure you, you are not.
