If I had the instruments, I would do CPS1 style music. As Capcom's Play System advanced, so did the quality of each sound.

you should try do greed{Ling} from Full MetalA lchemist Brotherhood, and use some audio from turles from the tenkaichi series and greed from the fma 1st series... sorry if it's too much, but still it would be awesome..
