His blend of ethnic Indian sounds with hard and pumping sounds of the UK underground have been claimed to be amongst the only few Indian productions which are taking the Indian dubstep and drum and bass music to the global level.
Thanks to his widely acclaimed productions, he is now a regular feature on BBC Radio 1 and has also been featured and interviewed on BBC Asian Network representing the bass heavy music scene of the country.

East Stepper has a strict motto "Create the music you perform". And he does it with solid ingenuity and technical skills and his productions don't stop at D&B and Dubstep only, Mungeritek is his progressive/techno project which has been praised by the world's most leading EDM sound engineer Robert Babbicz himself. TheMASSIVE Soundsystem is also his brain child and today has become one of the more sought after Drum and Bass acts in the city which evolved from the online drum and bass/dubstep community (themassive.in) which he started about an year ago.
Synesthesia is his ambient chill project and he also creates and performs psychedelic trance under the moniker Children of Anunnaki.
As a producer he has the musical and technical prowess to create the music he feels and hence does not restrict himself to just one sound and therefore all the different music projects he is involved with.

A multi instrumentalist who plays the flute, keyboard, doumbek , djembe , drumkit and still constantly exploring new instruments in order to expand his horizons
During live shows he doubles up as a percussionist playing and bringing his own style to instruments like the djembe, doumbek and conga infusing any dance music with percussive magic.


At the forefront of trying to push new sounds into the countries music consciousness East Stepper has founded UMI - Underground Music India
UMI is a body which strives to bring new sounds from all over the globe and give them an outlet in the capital.
The modus operandi right now for UMI is to have events and shows all across the city pushing Indian and global underground music. UMI will eventually turn into a media outlet for the same counter culture movement.
East Stepper is also the founder and brain behind the only online dubstep/Drum and bass community in the country called The Massive (facebook.com/IndiaMassive , themassive.in) which has been successful in bringing the community of D&B/Dubstep listeners together at a common space.
