Zakk is an annoying guitarist with all those stupid pinch harmonics. I couldn't listen to his version for more than 10 secs, before he got on my nerves! Randy played crazy train the best, although my favorite Ozzy solo is the one from the batm tour 1984 with Jake, at the end of suicidal solution.

I like both, but from a purely technical standpoint jazz wins. Why? Just check out all modern music theory classes in colleges, it's basically jazz theory. You make a nice point and I agree with you as far as popular music is concerned, but what about art music (music for the sake of music)? I wouldn't think of free-jazz or serialist or minimalist music as reflections of todays culture (as far as the general public is concerned).

That's why I like the buddhist aproach, which poses questions about the existence of god as utterly meaningless and ultimately irrelevant. If you took lsd or suffered a psychotic episode or meditated you would be much closer to the answer of such questions, or you could just be deceiving yourself...

I don't agree with foundationalism since there is no such thing as self-evident knowledge, plus there is the problem of induction. There are other alternative views that the narrator didn't talk about such as coherentism and skepticism or fictionalism. Personaly, I consider myself a fictionalist.
