I looked up some slipknot on my zune and I've changed my tune I have to agree with you now voidreala it is amazing how one band can be so good at absolutely everything, I mean masks and a guy who only plays the trash cans how could anyone ask for more? they couldn't

fromaginator1 - Looks like a lot of rumors are being thrown around here. First of all the most important band ever is neither the Beatles or Led Zeppelin. The most important and influential band in human history is without a doubt Slipknot, the first band to ever wear masks. The bands you and mxyzptlk42 have listed as "metal" are laughable. If you want to listen to actual metal, download some jams by Slipknot, Mudvayne, Limp Bizkit, Creed, Three Doors Down, Nickelback, Insane Clown Posse, Eric Clapton, etc. Regardless, I think most people with any sort of knowledge in the history of music will agree that Slipknot remains the number one most influential musical act in the entire world.

mxyzptlk42- I'm not saying anything about the Beatles they're pretty good, but a couple of the things you said are rather foolish. First of I believe you would find that a little known band called Led Zeppelin is the most important band ever. Also your opinion of real metal is a list of the bands to which most metal fans would direct you to "real metal". Arch-enemy has a couple good songs and Sepultura is good, but real metal is Black sabbath, Metallica(nothing after black album), Anthrax (pre-country), Megadeth, Slayer, All that Remains, Shadows Fall, Lamb of God, etc.

man you suck. usually i like Canadians...I especially like your whiskey...but you just suck. you're probably ok in real life, but man, you suck. It's ok, though. i was opinionated and liked terrible music when I was your age, too. I love the first Korn album. The second was ok. The rest is corporate rock nonsense. Well, Jon had a couple of cool songs here and there...but you really shouldn't rip on the Beatles. Especially while playing Korn. It's like a retard making fun of Picasso holding a kindergartner's crayon drawing of a cow. I really can't explain it any better than that. And I'm not ripping on metal. Go hear some REAL metal. In Flames, Sepultura, Arch Enemy, etc. I'm personally partial to the electro-metal. Ministry, Bile, Rammstein...Maybe in a couple of years go back and listen to the Beatles. They're pretty damn good. Ask any musician. Seriously, go ask musicians what they think about the Beatles. I think you'll find we're all in agreement. MOST IMPORTANT BAND EVER.
