--About the band--
Cyn~You (A shortened form of 'Cynical Ningyou') means "Cynical Doll".
The band name kind of created it's self. I wanted something that was not complicated but held meaning...the name makes a sort of "container" for songs that are about things like regret, sadness, guilty pleasures, deceit, destroyed innocence, hiding who you are, and the different things and people that live inside all of us.
The theme for this band is based from Japanese visual rock. So...I apologize if you don't know what that is. I'd be happy to introduce it to you though. Anyways, Sound wise there are no certain paths I want the music to lay on. I want it to reach every part of music, every style... because a band is just like a personality, an eclectic personality is interesting.
--Members--
Right now there is only me. Sadly. I'm currently this whole band by myself. But I made this account as a band because I'm hoping to find other J-rock fans that love music as much as I do that want to give this a chance together.
It's nothing that will be stressful, I don't necessarily plan to make a profession of it, but I would like to see how far it could go, and try to have as much fun going there as possible!
--About "Goshi"--
Cyn-You, is actually an idea of my friend and I, that's been around for quite some time now. I'm still pretty young, so before it was just a thought. Now that I've got a few instruments under my belt, (even if I'm not great at them) I decided to begin to try and creating some music. One for myself, and two so that I have something as proof of what I have to offer as a bandmate.
My friend, is not really into the idea of "Making music" any more. So that leaves me. Who absolutely loves...I live for it-...Music. And I've found that there's no better feeling than seeing something that inspires me, and spending a whole day in my room surrounded by intruments and tablets and watching this powerful thing come to life.
As for more details about me. I'm probably the most experienced as a Vocalist. I'm learning to play five string bass because that the instrument that I want to play. But I've begun to play keyboard and I started out on acoustic guitar before bass so... But just as a heads up. I can't read music, and I'm no expert on any instruments. But I am DEFINITLY willing to learn with enthusiasm from anyone who does.
