My Gmail account works fine on my Ideapad K1. I can see all my mails in the different places were you indicate, or I am not understanding you problem. Gmail shows in my apps and the list of applications in settings.
You may want to reinstall it maybe. Not sure.

This is great. Awesome job Guinness and Happy St Patrick's Day. Hey someone can tell us what breed is the fist dog (white), in the first few seconds. It looks almost exactly like the rescue we have, but haven't been able to tell for sure. Is it a wheaten terrier?
