Welcome to the CustomPuzzleLibrary!
Here at the CustomPuzzleLibrary, we are commited to bringing you the best custom puzzle videos, all organized into a Youtube Gallery, as well as allow you to create your own custom puzzle video to be on our page! Read more.
Even though this channel is run by more than one current Youtube user, it is NOT copying off the channel "fiveawesomecubers", obviously because this page isn't a place where there is a schedule on when certain people will upload a video based on something randomly related to cubing in general. However, this channel is basically a browse-able storage database of videos of custom puzzles of all kinds, all linked together into playlists by very specific categories via our featured video, "Browse our Custom Puzzle Gallery."
The "Browse our Custom Puzzle Gallery" video is a video that can link you to exactly which type of puzzles you are looking to view, all in a nice, compact annotations menu. The first three annotations in the first video let you choose between viewing Transformed puzzles, Unique Mechanism puzzles, or additional browsing categories. The additional browsing categories annotation links you to a video that contains additional playlists that contain puzzles that follow another direct category. For example, if you only want to see casted puzzles instead of having to go through the entire menu system, you could just go to "additional browsing categories", and click "casted". NOTE: All puzzles in the additional browsing categories are still available in the regular categories (Transformations and Unique Mechanism). Happy browsing, and if you notice any errors at all with the browsing videos, please contact us!
Either we may upload a video of a custom puzzle (following our video rules and regulations), request for a short video to be made from another user (following our video rules and regulations), or post one of YOUR custom puzzle videos on our page. Be sure that before you film your video, please read these video uploading rules and regulations:
1: By uploading your custom puzzle video to us, you agree that we may use your video on our page (obviously), and that your video contains absolutely no copyright protected content or false copyright claims (for example, don't claim that you made the puzzle when you didn't).
2: Please fill out this form in your submission including the attachment of your video file. Please type as the answer to any questions you are unsure of as "Unknown". Also, please try to include the Youtube username of the creator, otherwise, just include the creator's first and last name:
Your username:
Creator(s):
Brief description of how the puzzle was made and what it was made from:
How the stickers were made (From existing stickers, from Dr. Sticker, from your own vinyl cutter, hand cut, from Cubesmith, etc):
3: In your video: No talking. Do not make any reference to advertising in your video, as well as having anything related to in your video that would say "subscribe" to anybody (Unless you mean to us). Remember that this is a library, not an advertisement catalog. Do not show your body in your video (face, chest, etc) only show your hands and arms and the puzzle.
Do the following things in order:
Rotate the cube around in your hands slowly to reveal all if its sides.
Turn all possible layers on the puzzle 360 Degrees slowly.
Do either the checker pattern, or line pattern (if it is an even cube), then undo it. If no pattern is possible, skip this step.
Show how well the puzzle cuts corners by cutting corners on 3 different angles. If you know that the puzzle doesn't cut corners at all, skip this step.
Put your finger to a layer, and attempt to turn it just using that finger so we can see how easy it is to rotate a face. Do this to 2 of its turning axises. If finger-turning is impossible to do, skip this step.
If the puzzle isn't too hard to solve, then scramble the puzzle, turning each layer slowish. If it is a fully-functional shape-shifting puzzle, be sure to first scramble it in its shape, show the camera for a brief moment, and then scramble it to alter its shape. Then set it down on the table, and turn off the camera. If you don't scramble the puzzle, just set the puzzle down on the table, and turn off the camera once you reach this step.
Please send your video and the requirements in the email body to: custompuzzlelibrary@gmail.com
You may also send any suggestions for additional browsing categories you may be interested in for us to make.
The video will be sent to our video organizer, and then, if approved, will be sent to our video editor to be edited and posted on our channel and into our categories.
