Hey Simon, had this one in my American Mixed case....just drank it, really enjoyed it!! In complete agreement with this review...9/10 from me, delicious! Would happily session this one.

@realaleguide And also can you list your top beers for each section at some point? I know it's alot of work but I trust your reviews and tend to go out and try them based on the review. Maybe do a top 5 or top 10 in each section. That would be awesome.

Had this last week and just found your review, this is a fantastic ale, one of the best in my opinion! I loved how the head stayed on till the last drop too.

@realaleguide Hey Simon (thanks to this review) I bought a bottle Proper Job last week. Just got round to drinking it. Very nice, very refreshing. One to drink on a summers day with a BBQ I think. It went down really well. Would happily drink 4/5 of these. Great review, great beer.

Hi Simon, had a few of these on a stag do in Cardiff last week, really enjoyed it, Brains Bitter was nice, but this was the best ale of the weekend!

Keep meaning to try this one as I've seen it in a few pubs in Cheltenham, not got round to it. Will give it a go after seeing this review. How does it compare to Bombardier Simon? Personally I'd always shy away from buying an ale in a green bottle, gives the feel of a cheap lager before you even start! Not really what you want in an ale.

@realaleguide You'll love the Doom Bar! You must review it! As you like Bombardier on cask I think it will be right up your street. And again....one or two won't suffice!

Unfortunately Bombardier in the bottle is nowhere near as good...too fizzy.

Sounds like a good one this gonna try and track it down. Great review again.

Doom Bar is probably my 2nd favourite ale behind Wells Bombardier. Very drinkable, great flavour.
