@PHYCOSMILEY - one of them is actually a chinchilla, a ground squirrel and their gang leader, a flying squirrel. But yeah they're all squirrels one way or another.

@MojaSnimka - He would be better off forgotten, but remembering about the wrongful actions of such people in history serves as examples of why they must not be repeated. The amulets are much easier to afford in the medivial world, but you can haggle with the merchant in the Ancient Cil. World to lower his asking pay. Just don't go too low (nor get out of the conservation by refusing to purchase; act though to pay without the correct amount of jewels) or he won't...

9:40 - you'll need them for feeding animals late in the game, including in Cat Tower.

The 'intimidate' command doesn't always work; like having too many monsters in a group present even weak ones, say roughly 8 or more. You may have to kill some of them before it can work effectively. Sometimes too the monsters might drop an item while fleeing. That's my experience with playing DQ8.
