Q: What role does music & performing play in your life?
A: Music and performing are everything to me. Its not "O I like to sing" or "I enjoy dancing & being on stage", Its "I HAVE TO SING", "I HAVE TO DANCE," or "I HAVE TO PERFORM".
Q: What do you want to do with your life?
A: I want to do it all. Im GOING to do it all. I want to have a music career including singing, dancing, songwriting, and producing. And I want to have an acting career consisting of film, Broadway, and Television. My other goals include designing different fashions, writing a book of poetry, & starting an organization with the sole purpose of helping others. I WANT TO CHANGE THE WORLD!
Q: When did you know that you wanted to be a star?
A: I always knew that I wanted to be a star; but there are two specific nights that stand out in my mind. When I was 11 I saw the Michael Jackson 30th anniversary Special and documentary about Britney Spears called Driven. Its was the last hour of the Michael Jackson special that Michael took the stage solo. It looked as if everyone in the audience (full of all races and ages) was overwhelmed with feelings of joy and disbelief that they got to witness this legend on stage. Nobody could do it like or better than Michael Jackson. This one mans presence and talent drew an indescribable response from the audience of thousands and a sense of unity. I just thought Wow I want to share my gift with the world and use music to bring people together too! After I watched Driven:Britney Spears the feeling that came over me was indescribable. It showed how this small town girl had a dream and a drive to make that dream happen. That documentary gave me so much inspiration and i was on cloud nine after watching it. From then on I knew that this was what I wanted to do and that it was possible to make it happen. That night was marked the beginning of my long journey. I had the dream and the drive to make my dream come true. There was no turning back.
Q: Who do you look up to? Who are your influences?
A: I look up to Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Brandy. Michael Jackson has had a huge impact on me, I can't put it into words! Janet Jackson and Whitney Houston are also huge influences. Other influences. Too many to name. I listen to all kinds of music. I have everything from Gavin Degraw to Justin Timberlake to Selena to Marian Anderson to Ella Fitzgerald to Dolly Parton to Musicals to 2Pac to Marilyn Manson on my ipod and I take influences from everybody I listen to.
Q: Youre currently attending school. What are you studying?
A: I was originally a Musical Theatre major, then I switched it to Vocal Jazz Studies, and now Im a Vocal Performance major with an Acting minor; and I dont plan on switching majors anymore:-)
Q: Have you had any previous vocal training prior to going to college?
A: Of Course. I started off receiving vocal training when I was 16 I studied the classical style. However, recently I have been steering away the classical and musical theatre styles and have been focusing more on pop and commercial styles of music.
Q: What is your vocal range?
A: My range is a B2-E6. However, I'm not married to that range though because I'm still working on expanding my whistle register.
Q: What are you hoping to get out of your you tube channel?
A: Exposure. I just want people to hear my voice and I want to connect with others.

-Crystal wrote her first song when she was nine, entitled Everything.
-She is a former competitive gymnast; gymnastics is still her favorite sport.
-Idina Menzel is her favorite Broadway diva.
-Her favorite color is Pink. She also likes blue, yellow, silver, forest green, and gold.
-She is only 5 feet tall.
