Whats there to say?

I am a poet. My life is written in black upon a white canvas. My hopes, my dreams, my fears, my silent tears shed in the dead of night, are written line by line. Verse by verse I open wide for the world to see the beauty, agony, and pain that is me. My life, like a roller coaster of ups and downs, is about as unpredictable as my next spoken word. Poetry became my outlet to spill my emotions, speaking them was never my forte. Self expression turned to writing and in turn it shaped who I am. I as a poet, have the power to sway someones opinions. To cause tears and to awaken old fears. I can turn happy to sad with a swish of a pen. Just a few words on a piece of paper can change someones way of living. I can alter your thoughts and even alter mine. So I am a thinker, a believer, a creator, a destroyer, a friend, a daughter , a sister, a lover, a fighter, a poet that is me.
