Guthrie is second fastest from what I've read. But he could get even faster. Lane had small hands, yet he was able to group large intervals together. Greatest finger speed out there. I do love Govan's improvisation more though. I see them as equals. Both are up there with Holdsworth.

People who say that Tyson could beat Ali in his prime, are blind. 1961-1968 Ali, was the fastest thing with a pair of gloves on.
