Music written by David Van Kleeck, and various bands I am part of performing originals and covers. I also wish to promote other bands here, both Indie, Major and Unsigned, whose music moves me deeply and personally! Including Creed, Scott Stapp, Evanescence, Nickelback, Davey Pattison, Robin Trower, Michael Jackson, Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Guess Who, Burton Cummings, Sal Iacobucci, Robbie Spencer and many others.
About Me:

I write and compose original music within the genres of Contemporary Christian Rock, Hard Rock, Classic Rock, Blues Rock, Funk, Soul & Jazz Fusion. My bands also perform covers of those styles of music from eras spanning the 40's through today. I am very into writing Original Music with a message and recording or performing with passion! Born and raised in Los Angeles, California and now living in Glendale, Arizona, I have been playing, writing and composing since 1972 and am lucky enough to have songs that have been released Nationally and Internationally! It appears the Southwest and the New England area of the USA like my music very well. Also have a good fanbase in Quebec Canada, Vancouver, Australia, Netherlands and the UK. The bands I perform with include CrossTown Band (since 1985), Saffire Bluez (since 1975), Heart & Soul (1990-2000) and Dave Michaels Project (since 1972). DMP has released 5 full length albums now, 4 between 1976 and 1980 and the 5th is being released in 2010. CrossTown Band is a socially and spiritually conscious band, a Classic Blues Rock Power Trio with a Memphis Soul feel
and a different "Point Of View"! CTB has self-released 1 full-length album, "Point Of View", which was picked up by Alethea Records after selling out the first two runs in a year, and re-released with new recordings, new producer, guest Major Label musicians and a few new songs by David Van Kleeck then released in 2007 as "POINT OF VIEW" with a newly designed CD and jewel case. After attending a concert in 2004, one critic reviewed; "The songs are engaging, contemplative, thought provoking... The live performance was inspired and passionate... CrossTown put their heart and soul into the performance last night! We quite agree with her!

On February 17th CrossTown was due to open for Robin Trower at The Marquee Theatre in Tempe, AZ. Dave and wife Callie BOTH came down with the worst Flu of their lives, requiring a stand in band to take our place that night. ALL FANS who purchased a Ticket THRU US and did NOT attend due to CrossTown's absence; or who came but left before Robin Trower's performance, are eligible for a full or partial refund. Contact Dave thru YouTube.

Say I was just thinking to myself as listening to Comes the Night, sure sone heavy Robin Trower vibes like in the tune Hana coming through. Vocals a bit hard to hear but Daryl "thepower comes through". Old guy here, spent many hours way back when zoned into Robin Trower. Thanks for taking me back. If I lived in your area I would just love to record and video you guys live, what a trip mixing that would be. All the best, keep the music alive and stay healthy.
