@spncnrt86 I think you must be right. We had a non-organic sweet potato on our kitchen ledge short of a month and it had sprouts 10 inches long. My granddaughter thought it was so cool that after it stopped growing (indicating it used up it's interior water) we cut it in half and put it in water ...
