King Crimson - Dr Diamond
A less-known song KC song in the Fripp, Wetton, Bruford and Cross formula!
This version was taken from Live in Mainz 1974 album.

@musichardone the subject matter of this song is:
drug addiction and a dope dealer nicknamed Doctor Diamond who owns YOUR life and who's life is owned by you. A classic case of co-dependency.........:(

wow....i had no idea that this post would engender a harsh response....actually you are correct, I was born in Dec. 1973 and Crimso gave several tours the following year. Sorry bout that, I just thought it was funny when Fripp said "trumpets" and the 2 of you look around in the air...

@dupaorangutana In that photograph, "Chuckles Fripp" is welcoming and addressing the audience from John Wetton's vocal microphone. He has walked over to the mic from his stool stage right after Exiles......Fripp-"gnosis" often did this in-between songs;.......not for every single show, mind you,...

@orchidtender thanks for the information. I think the first video ever shown on MTV was in 1980 or 1981 and it was The Buggles "Video Killed The Radio Star".....appropriate enough. That video launched the cable station.....I feel REALLY old when I remember that far back. :(

that interviewer is completely ignorant.....it just goes to show that even some hosts in the 60s never properly did their jobs, as today, like, remembering the NAME of the movie?
"no, HEAD, you idiot!".......hilarious, .....go for it, Peter!

A rare trailer for the Monkees movie "Head". Contains scenes that did not make it into the final released print.

this footage is the holy grail for all Monkee chronologists.......i think Rafelson/Nicholson/Schneider made a major mistake in deleting these scenes. The clips raise more QUESTIONS about the film than answers. I hope that the celluloid dropped on the editing floor is found again someday.......
