I use a Dazzle to record the video. It came with a disc for "Instant DVD Recorder" and I use that with the dazzle to record the video. I record my voice with the narrative timeline in Windows Movie Maker. After I record a video I use Windows Live Movie Maker and save the video file before editing in regular movie maker. Hope that helped! :)
