Vandaag blokje mee gereden. Rijdt echt heel leuk! Comfortabel, goed afgewerkt, en stil op de snelweg. Lekker motortje ook, wel goed op de toerenteller kijken, het geluid is wennen.

Have you got any information of the fuel economy of this hybrid bus, and can you compare that with similar non-hybrid buses? That would be really interesting to know.

This is not an engine, it's a diesel humidifier. It seems that, even at the end of the video, it's still not running on all cylinders.

Unless you get the fuel for free, pre-heating the coolant and oil would save a lot of money, plus it's a lot better for the engine too.

Amazingly refined engines! No smoke, no fuss. Switch on, vrooom.

Few people seem to understand that maximum acceleration is achieved, when the average power during acceleration in a certain gear is at maximum. So unless the engine has a flat power area, this always means shifting above maximum power.

Whats the benefit of this in stead of shifting through 4th in Lo-range?

How is the handling of the Smart in those icy conditions? It seems to me that the very short wheelbase should make it quite tricky to handle.

@michiel2006 Dank voor je antwoord. Het verbruik valt mij niet tegen, en de 0-100 ook niet. Een 5bak lijkt mij wel een fijn extra, voor zowel geluid als verbruik.

Voor mij is de W123 echt DE mercedes, een legend. Veel plezier ermee en wees er zuinig op!
