About Me:
Hometown:
Phoenix
Country:
United States
Occupation:
I do custom murals for folks, and my main "real job" would be scenic painting and set design for local theaters.
Interests:
The 1950's, "The Poseidon Adventure," glass breaking (hence my user name), roaches, toilets, satire, wigs and the amassing of them, painting and drawing, creating wee sets and dioramas, and, as of the last three years, Lee Harvey Oswald. Yes. Before that it was Parker Stevenson, but things change, and in reading about the softer side of Lee and gleaning as much as I can about the good things, as well as the mundane (why he liked plaid and sweatervests), these are things I revel in, not the dark that most remember him for. I feel Oswald is innocent and my videos about him are not meant to be derogatory. He wasn't gay, but hey, I simply like to pretend that he was! Can't please everyone! I also enjoy thrift shopping (as if I need anything MORE in this house), but anymore, the 50's furniture is all SMALL, doll-scale size. for me, Lee, and everyone else in "My World" as of late...did I mention I like breaking glass and broken dishes? oh - yes, you can see them in the background here. SMASH!
Movies:
Suspense & Disaster movies, Carol Burnett and Monty Python. The Twilight Zone. Quantum Leap. FlashForward (even though it was cancelled). Apocalypse movies with abandoned streets and papers blowing down them .
Music:
Mid-century instrumental Cocktail Music. And that is ALL. Really.
Books:
Om. "The Poseidon Adventure..."
