Set in Montana between 1910 and 1935, A River Runs Through It revolves around two brothers, their minister father and the river that in many ways shapes their lives. While brothers Norman (Craig Sheffer) and Paul MacLean (Brad Pitt) are much alike, striking differences begin to unfold. Norman tends to emulate their minister father (Tom Skerritt), scholarly and morally upright. Paul, handsome and daring, plays to a different tune. As their lives take separate paths, the tough stoicism that's been bred into the brothers has made it almost impossible for them to express their feelings for each other, and drifts them further apart. But out on the river, the three men come together in their abiding love for fly-fishing and the search for harmony that it represents.

more
Deftly blending pitch-black humor and intimate storytelling, Oscar®-nominated director Stacy Title's The Last Supper is a dark comedy of good food, fine wine and potent points of view. Jude (Cameron Diaz), Paulie (Annabeth Gish) and Pete (Ron Eldard) are liberal graduate students who want to save the world from the hypothetical horrors of tomorrow. They hold a lively series of weekly dinner parties, with carefully chosen, politically controversial dinner guests (Jason Alexander, Bill Paxton, Mark Harmon, Ron Perlman). Regardless of the conversation, the repast is always delightful, delectable and deadly-with tomatoes picked fresh from the shockingly fertile backyard. This wickedly delicious satire puts a sharp and stylish spin on what's right and left-and right and wrong-in contemporary American politics. MPAA Rating: R © 1996 The Vault, Inc. All Rights Reserved.

more
Twenty years after Pelios murdered King Aristo for the throne of Thessaly, Jason (Todd Armstrong) returns home to claim the kingdom that is, by all rights, his. Yet, in order to do so, he must first find the Golden Fleece. So he builds a ship, The Argo, and selects a crew before sailing to far-off Colchis in search of the prize. But, in a move intended to foil Jason's plans and seize the Fleece for his father, Pelios's son, Acostus (Gary Raymond), is sent along on the voyage, too. With Hera, Queen of the Gods, helping him to overcome the many obstacles placed in his path, Jason rescues Medea from the sea. Without revealing her identity, she directs him to her father, King Aeetes (Jack Gwillim), the ruler of Colchis. But, forewarned by Acostus of their plans to steal the Golden Fleece, after receiving them in friendship, Aeetes then condemns Jason and his men to death. Torn between love for Jason and loyalty to her father, Medea frees him and leads him to the Fleece, which is in a glade guarded by a seven-headed Hydra. Destroying the creature, Jason takes the Fleece and, fleeing with Medea and his men, eludes Aeetes and his soldiers to begin the long voyage home aboard the Argo.
