Cowichan Lake is a 32 Kilometre pristine lake, it is the second largest lake on Vancouver Island. It boasts the communities of Lake Cowichan, Youbou, Honeymoon Bay, Mesachie Lake, Skutz Falls, Meades Creek, and Caycuse. It is the gateway to the Walbran/Carmanah and the circle route to Port Renfrew, Sooke, and Victoria. The Cowichan Lake area is lush with natural beautiful surroundings, many campgrounds to suit your needs from resort style camping to rustic natural enthusist camping, and trail systems for young and old, from light to extreme. The spectacular Cowichan River of the Cowichan Valley is world known as an Anglers Delight and the is the Fly Fishing Capital of Canada. Come work, stay and play in Cowichan Lake.
