I've been trying that as well, with mixed results. If I'm riding in the cart, it will carry me thru the entire loop with a minimum of powered track. If the cart is empty (as I want it to be) it reacts differently to the segments of pwered track every time I send it. I have yet to be abl...

I just tried this system for the first time. It works pretty well for resource gathering in general, not specifically for diamonds. I made approx 15 or 20 tunnels. The lower section was definitely more resource-rich. My take from that mine: 405 Redstone, 94 Iron Ore, 102 Coal, 9 Gold Ore, 7 Flint...
