Singer / SongWriter, over 35 yrs. on the local circuit performing Country Music and writing it! I started performing for family & friends at age 5. By age 14, I was performing on a local circuit and writing my own songs. At age 18, I placed 2nd in a competition at the old "Country WareHouse", in Rochester, NY, a Blue Grass Band placed 1st, and won the trip to Nashville. After that I wrote the song, "To Dream Of Nashville". I'm not a Fancy guitar player, I've only had 6 lessons on guitar at the mere age of 12 yrs. old, but I try hard! lol I never made the "Big Time", "Everything Happens For A Reason", but I've had alot of fun and made alot of friends in and out of the business, on the local circuit, along the way. All of the songs on my player on myspace are my own, lyrics & music! What you are hearing is just "Myself and My Guitar", "A computer mic", No "fancy effects", No "voice lessons", "No studio", No "Tweaking", just plain and simple Country, like it all used to be , I think alot of people appreciate that sound more....all natural! (Oh, for that time again when music, artists & songs were judged by their natural sound and not based souly on "model looks" and equipment devices that change their voice or money that buys their way into a contract!.) Lorretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynnette, Tanya Tucker, Jeannie C. Rilely, Barbra Mandrell, etc. they are and were all True Talent , they worked hard for what they got out of the music business! I was off the local circuit for about 5 yrs., due to a devastating, work related, back injury that required surgery and left me in therapy for 5 yrs. Then after my back surgery, (metal and all and still in a back brace at the time!), I was back in the hospital for a neck injury,( accident with a guy on a "Cell Phone!)that required surgery and almost cost me not only my voice,...but my life. Maybe I can write a song about all this!, Aww, "Broke Back Country Girl?", "The Voice With In?", LOL All this never kept me down, my Humor, Family & Dear Friends and God, got me through alot, I kept writing my music and occasionally, doing guest appearances for jamborees and other events. People didn't forget me, they still loved the "playful" Audrey, cane and all! (no more cane now and finally done with therapy). "God doesn't give us any more than we can handle." Now the "main goal" at this time in my life...... is to have a Record Company/ Famous Artist, pick up my songs! I feel that I've more than "Paid My Dues" in life! I just want my songs heard!, I don't have to sing them!, but would like someone who is established in Country Music at this time, to record them, reconize them! How about it Tanya(Tucker)?, Gretchen(Wilson)?, Carrie(Underwood)?, SugarLand?,Taylor(Swift)?, OR a new up and coming artist!, any takers? About My Music: "Secrets Go Untold" , is a soft style country and tells the story of a longing romance that can never be, "Tall Drink Of Water", is a playful upbeat, Country/Rockabilly wrote for my husband (he's 6'2", lol, I'm 5'2'), "Earth Bound Angel", is a Folk/Country/Christian type song I wrote for my grandaughter, Kylie, who suffered a stroke in utero and is disabled........She was never suppose to be........ Kylie has inspired me so much with her determination and strength to LIVE and continues to beat the odds! Watch the Music Video on here titled, "Kylie's Journey...Our Earth Bound Angel" to see her progress!, "All Alone", was written at the mere age of 14yrs., after my 1st real boyfriend "cheated" on me!, Oh!, the Life & Drama of a Country Song Writer! lol... I have several songs and some I'm still working on, fast, slow, serious, funny, you name it, but all with my Country Style!
