Cottage Industry Films was born out of the collaboration of Ashley Wing & Clayton Fussell. They first collaborated on the now multi award winning bittersweet mockumentary 'A Hard Day's Knight'. Their second film 'OMG', an experimental silent comedy, was editor's choice for the Virgin Media Shorts scheme and has been very well received at international film festivals.

Their third and most ambitious project, the dark comedy horror 'Robbing Peter', which acquired numerous awards, has been described as 'Very imaginative and funny' and 'Technically excellent' by respected cinematographer, Roger Deakins.

Their fourth collaboration, entitled 'Day Return' aims to continue their now established track record of producing high quality narrative drama. They have begun work on their first feature film, a dark World War II comedy entitled 'The Cromwell Alert' which is currently in script development.
